I know wins should be included but this is how I see it...

#1 - Oregon - playing the best ball in the country...Did I just see Vince Young playing for the Ducks...No, it's some guy named Dixon. You don't know him now but you will when he hoist the Heisman trophy next month.

#2 - LSU - Call it what you want but this is the best team in the best conference in America. 6 wins against top 17 opponents. No other team in America would have 1 loss. Throw out the wild triple OT win and there is no question who is #1.

#3 - Kansas - I know Nebraska isn't that good but 76 points against any school is impressive. Jayhawks in football?

#4 - Ohio State - Only because they are undefeated. Don't be surprised if the "fire Ron Zook" Illini go get a win in Columbus.

#5 - West Virginia - Great skill players good defense.
How the polls will look tomorrow:

    1 - OSU
    2 - Oregon
    3 - LSU
    4- Kansas
    5 - West Virginia

The actual polls should look like:

    1) OSU
    2) LSU
    3) Oregon
    4) Oklahoma
    5) Kansas/WVU

It's too close to call with WVU and Kansas. I think they will split Coaches and Harris.

    My top 10:

    1) LSU
    2) Oregon
    3) Ohio State
    4) W. Virginia
    5) Kansas
    6) Oklahoma
    7) Missouri
    8) Virginia Tech
    9) Michigan
    10) Arizona State/Florida (tie)

Oregon is looking impressive to be sure. We have been living on the edge. I can see where people would vote Oregon #2, but given the hellacious schedule we have been going through with all the ranked teams, I'd have to give the #2 nod to LSU right now. The west coasters aren't going to like that, and I expect to hear a lot of trash coming out of the PAC-10 this week, especially from the state of Oregon. But it is what it is, and none of this means anything at the moment.

We have another issue to deal with. Oregon won't lose again...if they jump us in the polls as expected, we could be in trouble unless OSU loses to Illinois or Michigan.

What a strange twist that would be if Michigan beats OSU and Miles is able to win a NC then head to Michigan...Strange to think if it that way.

1 Ohio State (Purely because they are undefeated)
2 LSU ( We just find ways to win even if we do help the other team a lot :milesmic: )
3 Oregon (I think they are a solid team but people forget that few inches they lost by to cal is the same few inches we were away from never going to overtime with Kentucky(on multiple occasions))
4 Oklahoma ( They know how to put points on the board)
5 West Virginia (there is just something about their offense when it is healthy)

None of this matters though, we win out we will be at least number two, with Florida last year and playing an extra game than the PAC 10, I think we would jump back ahead of them even if they jumped us now) I recall the OSU team of 2002 didn't exactly win with a lot of style and had many games go down to the wire as well. No reason, if there is no other undefeated teams to take the 2 spot, that a 1 loss SEC Champion shouldn't get the shot.

My thoughts are Ohio state will lose a game before the seasons over. Illinois and for that matter Mich both have a shot. As long as the Tigers take care of business the remainder of the way, it looks more and more like a LSU/ORE NCG building.

    my picks

    1. OS
    2. LSU
    3. Ore
    4. OK
    5. ASU

I'm sorry, but I can' take your advice. I think OSU is deceptively good and I'll be surprised if they lose a game. Maybe Michigan has a shot.

I'd have a tough time voting LSU #2 for certain, but I think the big wins and one close loss help our cause. If I were doing my computer ratings this season I think the computer would have LSU second.

    1) Ohio State: I see them each week& here in Columbus and only #1 because they are 9-0. The big house may get em.

    2) LSU: A team that finds a way to win when the game is on the line, that is the heart of a NC. Look for LSU to paly a #5 or #6 Ga in the SECCC
and if they win and if OR did pass them in the polls LSU will be #2 in the final BCS poll.

    3) Ogeon: They are the media darlin of the week.

    4) Kansas: 76 points. not much more to say bout that.

    5) Oklahoma: They can light up the score bord.
