    Yellow out? ;)

We did do a gold out for the South Carolina game. And it looked awesome. The rain was pouring in the game hardcore and all the gold ended up looking like orange but it was still cool.

It would seem that we should pull for Tennessee to win out. As for Georgia/Auburn, might as well pull for Auburn as it makes us look better.

Tennessee in the SECCG, to me, would be the best case scenario. IMO they are the weaker team (between UT and UGA). Plus there is the fact that playing UGA in Atlanta is essentially a home game for them. If Tenn wins out they will be ranked somewhere between 12-17 (I would guess), thus giving us a pretty good bump in the rankings.

**Note that the one problem with facing Tennesse in the SECCG would be that they would return the favor from 2001. They were all set to play in the National Title and only had to get through an average LSU team in the SECCG. That didn't work out too well for them.

If Georgia wins out they will be in the top ten for sure which would make a win over them in the SECCG almost assuredly seal a trip for us to the :crystal:

If we get Tennessee, a win over them in the SECCG would not help us nearly as much. It might still be enough to hold off Oregon should they win out but a win over Georgia would help more.

I think you are giving more respect to Oregon's chances than you should. I don't think they have much of a shot. Kansas has a better chance at passing us, although I'm doubtful they'll be able to get through both Mizzou and Oklahoma (as well as Okie St. in Stillwater).

I understand that beating UGA would be the "better win," but I'm more focused on taking the path of least resistance. If UGA wins out, they will be a very tough team to beat...particularly in the Georgia Dome (for the same reason I always feel confident when we play in New Orleans). Tenn, IMO, isn't as good a team and Georgia, and would have such a significant crowd advantage (although they would more than likely have more fans that us).

I kinda want to play UGA...remember the last time we beat them in the SECCG?
But then again, the last time we played them, they laid it on us in Atlanta...but this could be the season to exorcize all our losses the past few years...

Cats fighting Dogs in the Georgia Dome. Would make for a perfect year! Another great finish. Take the crowd out early, eliminate mistakes and we own the second half!!! No better way to gain national respect. We want the nations best so bring it on-

Unfortunately, the TN crowd advantage is about the same as the Georgia crowd advantage in the Georgia Dome. Both games (TN in 2001, GA in 2003) were approximately 3/4 GA/TN, 1/4 LSU.
