BATON ROUGE -- LSU track and field coach Dennis Shaver signed a new contract on Friday, director of athletics Skip Bertman announced. Shaver, who recently completed his third-year as head coach of the LSU track and field program, guided both the men and women to second place finishes at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in June.
