I was just driving from a client and was listening to Sirius 122 and they were broadcasting Tim Brando's new show on Sirius. He was interviewing CBS's Vern Lundquist about the Bama/LSU game. They were both commenting what a great game it was and how pressure packed it was for the fans, players and coaches. Vern went on to talk about his one on one interviews with Coach Miles. He said CLM was very relaxed leading up to the game. He also said that LSU has a very good coach CLM. He said he was the perfect coach for LSU to have during the Katrina year. He went on to say CLM is a very fine honest and decent man. Vern and Tim Brando both commented that CLM has unfairly received a lot criticism from the media and other schools fans. It's nice to see other folks start to get what we already know. LSU has a great coach! :milesmic::thumb:

Do y'all remember when Tim Brando was the sports guy on Channel 9 in BR? I still think it's weird seeing him on national broadcasts.

I remember that, too. Tim used to call my dad (a high school football coach) to get caught up on rules, etc. My dad would also do play-by-play with Brando on WIBR when Dad's team had played on Thursday nights. It's neat to see him make it as far as he has.
I remember that! I always comment on it when he's on TV now, that he used to be a local guy in B.R. and it's weird that he's national now.
