I don't think the team is going to be that bad. However if that ranking is anywhere close to being right I think it's safe to say it will be Brady's last year.

im surprised its that high. losing QT was the nail in the coffin.

only because there is a lot of experience in the backcourt there is a chance the LSU gets in the ncaa tourney, but its a small chance.

strangely enough, i'll have more fun following this team than last year's team.

Ah take that ranking with a grain of salt. This is NCAA basketball, we all know rankings mean zilch. This team will finish A LOT better than 82nd. Great backcourt and if Taz or Johnson can get some inside presence, and we do decent on the boards, then this team will surprise a lot of opponents. Randolph and Thornton are going to be huge. Also realize how many teams compete in D1A basketball. 82 out of like 300 isn't too bad.

That wasn't my point though. :yelwink2:
I meant that as a preseason "measuring stick" 82 wasn't bad. Not that I expect LSU to finish the season 82nd. LSU has a good shot at making the NCAAs. We have a favorable schedule with some good schools and the SEC should be weaker this year. Don't count the boys out yet! :geauxtige:bball:

Maybe we'll run the table in the NIT and be the 65th best team in the nation.
