I like to play now and then but I only watch golf when it's a major. Except for the British Open which is usually over by the time I wake up.
Golf is not a great TV sport. There is more action on the last lap at Daytona or Talledega than there is in an entire golf tounament. The action unfolds at a slower pace than a 1-0 pitchers duel in baseball. BUT I am too old to play baseball and if I drove like a NASCAR driver I would be either dead or in jail. I can still hit a golf ball even though there is a good chance the ball will end up in the woods or in the water.
I know,.. thought I'd tweak your nipple to see if I could get a rise out of you,.. but darn it, you've mellowed
I was lucky enough to attend several Fedex Cups in Atlanta, but the move up to August is not appreciated much. There is a difference between 90 and 85 in the shade.
