Just scratching the surface... these are a few LEGAL disparities, built into legal codes: Tax policies are structured against poor black Americans. Just one example, tax policy that allows deductions for mortgage interest but not rent disproportionately affect people of color. African Americans are more likely to live in urban areas where home ownership is far less common than rents and leases. Criminal law policies. Examples: Black Americans receive sentences 20% longer than white Americans for the same crime. Black felons lose their right to vote at a higher rate than white felons. And so on. Voter suppression laws make Black Americans wait in line longer, provide fewer polling places for Black Americans, reject voter applications for Black Americans at a much higher rate, gerrymander blacks into lesser representation and influence, etc. I won't even bother with the social disparities because they're practically endless. In a nutshell, ANY social benefit that doesn't account for wealth and education disparities helps to perpetuate and worsen the disparities. But you know what? You're not truly interested in how Blacks are disadvantaged in this country because that information is plentiful all over the internet. You wouldn't be asking me.
You forgot black babies are murdered in the womb much more than any other race because abortion clinics are strategically placed in black neighborhoods by the the DEMOCRATS darling Planned Parenthood. You know the Planned Parenthood who was started by DEMOCRAT Margaret Sanger who believes blacks are inferior and abortion is best for them. Yes that Margaret Sanger who DEMOCRATS adore. Surely you know that right?
You forgot corrupt, i.e. Biden family business, Pelosi stock trades, Pork handed out to friends that large portions of come back as donations. (I've had Rex on ignore again, looks like I'm missing some whoppers)
evidently conservatives and fair minded people didn’t get the memo: https://rollcall.com/2022/01/27/amid-jim-crow-2-0-rhetoric-some-gop-candidates-of-color-thrive/ CAMPAIGNS Amid ‘Jim Crow 2.0’ rhetoric, some GOP candidates of color thrive Texan Wesley Hunt in elite territory with $1 million total for fourth quarter By Kate Ackley Posted January 27, 2022 at 12:05pm, Updated at 2:27pm Wesley Hunt, who is running for the GOP nomination in Texas’ 38th District, hauled in more than $1 million in the most recent fundraising quarter and holds $1.5 million in the bank. That seven-figure sum, which Hunt and his campaign shared first with CQ Roll Call ahead of a Monday filing deadline, puts the Army veteran, who is Black, in the top tier of congressional fundraisers. He’s part of a growing Republican roster of House or Senate candidates or incumbents who are people of color raising eye-popping sums. Even as some Democrats, including President Joe Biden, have attacked the GOP as the party of Jim Crow 2.0 for opposition to bills to strengthen voting rights and overhaul elections nationwide, some of the Republican Party’s rising fundraising stars are people of color, many of whom, like Hunt, take issue with Democrats’ messaging…..
I was about to make a sarcastic remark to get a rise from Rexie but that would distract from an important point the article makes. In spite of the claims democrats like to make that republicans are racists to the core there is the growing phenomenon of people of color, all colors realizing the false promises of the democrats are the real racist lies. From this candidate to Winsome Sears and so many others, people of conscience and conservatives are welcomed no matter their color or religion or sexual preference or any of the other false divisions democrats love to use. They are increasingly attracted to the real opportunity offered by classical conservatism. The fact that personal freedom and initiative are the real rewards that lift all boats. It’s not an overarching central state which suppresses excellence and initiative that is the best path in life. Most conservatives welcome them with open arms and celebrate their success. Hopefully the grip of the democrats holding the ‘poor little people ‘ down on the government plantation is slipping and more will step into the sunlight of freedom and prosperity.
Garrett Soldano, Republican candidate for Governor of Michigan, on abortion for women who have been raped: "God put them in this moment. And they don't know, that little baby inside them may be the next president, may be the next person who changes humanity... We must always protect that DNA and allow it to have a voice." To which I would have replied for all the victims: FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING NUTCASE. Religion makes you an idiot.
