One of my all time favorites. Have had the pleasure of seeing him perform several times.

You are lucky I never had the chance. My wife and I were chatting one day and I asked her if you had to listen to just one band or singer for a full day who would it be, mine was Bob Seger followed by Van Morrison as number 2.

The Eagles are my all time favorite group. Bob's certainly in the Top 5.

Very good choices! Excellent even. I saw Bob and hands down one of the best. Amazing band, what professional sounds like!

The Eagles came in third. To me Morrison had many more songs that weren't heard on the radio that were great. Also he could jazz it up, rock out, or mellow out. He was a great sax player in case you didn't know. Check out this instrumental by Van playing the sax.

This is what I love about this guy he can go from mellow instrumental to hard driving and everything in between. Always thought he could do swamp pop too. This song got a soulful swamp pop sound to it.

Silly but I have always liked it. Also of course my all time favorite Charles Brown's "Please come home for Christmas"

I've always liked it the best but Don Henley / Eagles (not sure if that was a group thing or if he did it solo) is probably my next favorite version
