It’s crunch time now. If we don’t know who the new coach is by mid next week I’m nervous. That is unless Ok is still in playoff picture after this weekend. I know it’s a long shot with Riley but it’s the only thing I can think of as to why it’s taking so long.
Why is Riley a long shot? He has not said no. He said everyone knows how he feels about OU. Nothing on the local news about an extension, unless Shane has heard something. Hard to turn down $12M, if true. Who knows? Woodward has not missed yet.
I agree I’m just basing that statement on what everyone is saying. I posted a few days ago that the longer this drags out the more thing m thinking it’s Riley as long as they stay on course for playoff
Its like with injuries; Next Man Up!! I'm going to put a rumor out that our next coach is going to be a guy named Coach Kluke. Because I'm in need of a multimillion guaranteed contract; but I'm willing to settle for a good bit less.
This is what I was referring to earlier, however working on an extension doesn’t mean it’s done deal. I think it’s coming down to Campbell, Napier and Riley.
