OK, I see. Quirky rule, but at least you can get normal beer at a liquor store. I was going to offer to bootleg some beer, with normal alcohol content, up there to you 2. Tiger fans get exceptionally thirsty on gameday.

TX still has some odd rules too.

yep. don't miss them at all. Always pissed me off to have to go to a liquor store to get alcohol.

No, I have not seen it yet.

However, if you like blonde ales: Have you tried Southern Star's Blonde Bombshell?

Yep, I highly recommend this one. While you're at it try Southern Star's Pine Belt Ale, one of my personal favorites.

Our tailgating krewe had our annual beertasting event for the Auburn game, and here's a rundown of some of what was on the list:

    Stone Arrogant Bastard
    Yuengling
    Red Stripe
    Xinghu
    St. Arnold Oktoberfest
    Real Ale Devil’s Backbone
    St. Arnold Pumpkinator
    Real Ale Fireman’s 4
    Dundee Oktoberfest
    Blanche de Bruxelles
    Abita Andygator
    Heinerbrau
    Hoegaarden
    Bohemia
    Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
    Freetail Buffalo Hump
    Freetail Tadarida IPA
    Fort Collins Chocolate Stout
    Shiner Black
    Brooklyn Monster Ale
    Eel River Porter
    Weihenstephaner Hefe-Weiss
    St Patrick’s Best Ale
    St Arnold Lawnmower
    Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan
    Sweaty Betty

This is *not* a comprehensive list. I think we had over 30 beers for sampling. I tried to post a picture of our beer tent (I decorate it with all of the boxes so we can see what we've got), but I can't from work.

Good times were had by all!

Have you even gone by and said hi to Okie, yet? Can't switch krewes if you refuse to show your face!

We also had something called Skull Splitter. Must not've been very good because I still have a lot of it left.
