It didnt go down that way Steve. Kiffin wanted the kid and the powers that be let him. He wasnt forced on Kiffin at all. Hood deserves a second chance in life but does he deserve the privilege of an athletic scholarship? In my opinion, no. His crime rises to a level far greater than most problem teens are guilty of. I think it was a mistake for Tenn even if the kid turns out to be a model citizen. His crime was particularly heinous and I don't care if he was just 13. How can you tie your cousin up with duct tape and stand by watching your friend use a plunger on her? At 13 you mostly know right from wrong and even if you were stupid you would know that was as wrong and wrong can be. :dis:
