Everyone can see JD wasn’t a serviceable option. At minimum, sit JD for a few series to take a breath and see things from the sideline. Beating your head into a wall is a Les Miles thing. Maybe it’s a BK thing too.

I go back to the Bill Arsnparger days here, but I always liked that it was part of the game plan that Tom Hodson would sit a series early in the second quarter and midway through the 3rd quarter of every game. He always seemed to play better after the series off, and when the inevitable occurred and the backup (I can't remember his name) was needed, he was prepared.

I didn't read every post, so it may have been said, but JD looks like another JJ to me. I thought we got away from that crap of a safe running QB. Sorry but JD, like JJ, just does not have the QB IQ to make a difference. Play Nuss, while Howard learns and take what we get. Its a mulligan year anyway let them get the experience and pt they need because JD is not the answer. Like many said he has time he just does not see the field. His biggest problem is he plays backyard type of football waiting for his receiver to be open instead of throwing him open. He is late on every throw when he does that.

Daniels has a lot more skill than JJ, so that is not a fair comparison. But you are correct that JD is best at improvising (aka backyard football). His play generally does not elevate the play of his teammates. We are wasting the skills of a talented WR room.

I don't care how talented your WR room is, if your OL can't protect your QB & give him time to hit those talented WRs you find yourself in the position LSU is in.

We had Joe, we are spoiled. I have to trust our coaches that JD is our best option right now. Kelly has been too successful to not trust. Why would he start the second or third best QB over who the best is? Doesn't make sense to believe Nuss or Walker would not be playing if they proved in drills they were better than JD.

JD's indecisiveness does not make the OL look good.
