but mark may just said, if LSU runs the table they are in the BCSNCG, Probably against oregon unless kansas wins out, said lsu is best team in country, even with sloppy play i know, we all know this already, but I love getting 50 comments from people saying, duh!
Has Kansas beat a ranked team yet or a team that they have beaten in the top 25? I guess they'll get a chance vs Missouri and maybe Oklahoma
I like May. I like his analysis. He doesn't seem to bee jumping on the Orygone bandwagon. I know he doesn't think KU will make it with Mizzou and OU left on the schedule, but if they do, I think they jump Oregon to meet us at the NCG.
I think Musburger said something similar, but I didn't hear the whole thing. He was saying that the winner of USC/Arizona St. and the winner of Michigan/tOSU would go to the Rose Bowl and Oregon would go to the BCSNCG to face LSU (I think).
Musberger actually said at the end that it would come down to the big 12 and lsu for the national championship game and assumed oregon would already be in.
Thanks. Like I said, I didn't hear everything. I had TigerVision streaming on my computer and KU/OSU on the TV.
As long as we win out, we are in. Kansas couldve lost tonight, OkSU just didnt have enough defense. If MIzz doesn't keep score with them, they won't beat them, but I def see the Sooners beating them. Which them brings us to, if Oklahoma wins out, do they jump Oregon? Many think so, including Mark May, however if the sooners play sloppy, Oregon goes in. So it will be a race between those three teams I think, Ohio State could come back in, depending on how far they fall that is.
K State was #24 when Kansas beat them...they just got annhilated by Nebraska. Kansas is playing one of the weakest schedules in Division I. They finish out the season against ranked Missouri and then play the Big 12 championship... Still can't seeing the voters leaping them over Oregon if the Ducks take care of business.
It's Oregon's job to make that argument now. We don't need to bother with such things. Let's just sit in the drivers seat and ride this crazy ride into the BCS MNC game. I am going to assume that we beat Ole Miss, Arky, and Tenn after several 4th down attempts on the last drives of the game (and maybe an OT thrown in there for good measure) with over 14 penalties a game. With a month to prepare, we smoke Kansas or Oregon with no problems (except the 14 penalties). This season is driving me :insane: :insane: :insane:
