can someone explain to me how spreading/reporting (imo, stupid) rumours during the season is gonna help anything??

i would rather focus on, and support, the coach we have now. not looking like fans are trying to push him out the door. :dis:

This rumor is beyond stupid. Anyone who believes Les Miles has a contract waiting for him at UM already just waiting to be signed is an idiot. He has a BCS title within reach which means a huge payday for him. If UM is interested in him, they still have no idea what ballpark figure to offer him money wise.

Actually the rumors of Spurrier coming to LSU if Miles leaves would help not hurt recruiting!!! What hurts recruiting is Miles staying mum (which I can totally understand him not saying anything) because recruits do not want to commit to a coach that might leave before they even make the first day of practice!!! I hope Miles stays but if he does leave I would love to have the Old Ball Coach on our side!!!:geaux:

    Sounds like a strategy...

In the military, it's called information operations.

Interesting concept - hire yourself out quietly to college football programs with the sole purpose of developing an information campaign over the internet through forums, blogs, and web sites. Tactics being to spread disinformation and sow the seeds of discontent. Objective being to negatively impact recruiting and influence media coverage.

    Hmmm....
