All this about special teams makes me remember that I miss Chris Jackson. Just always liked that guy. He's a good Tiger.

Other than kick and punt returns, and punting coverage and punt returns, our special teams are pretty damned solid.

Agree with just about everything said...just wanted to add to my post count.

And also add that Fisher...though it amazes me that he will NOT try to kick the ball out of bounds, or at least give us a shot at downing it...has an awesome leg. Dude could be punting from OUR 30 and still wind up with a touchback.:angryfire He has bailed us out several times by booming one to the 30 from our endzone.

I have to agree with this thread. Part of the problem is the formation we started using last year.

I have to agree with this thread. It all started last year when we changed the formation.

For all the "Punt ugly" complaints, LSU is second in the SEC in punting:

Av/ yards per punt/number of punts

    Auburn...............44.0/51 punts
    LSU...................43.7/39 punts
    Tennessee..........42.7/40 punts
    Kentucky............41.9/27 punts
    South Carolina.....41.5/50 punts
    Georgia..............41.4 /42 punts
    Arkansas............40.5/38 punts
    Alabama............37.3/48 punts
    Florida...............38.9/27 punts
    Vanderbilt..........38.5/43 punts
    Ole Miss.............39.4/43 punts
    Miss. St.............39.4/50 punts
