The big mistake was firing Frank Solich. I hope Nebraska continues to spiral downhill for firing a winning coach. Its a little thing called karma. Btw, I hope Bo turns you down and goes elsewhere. i would think the job is a 50/50 shot with pelini and turner gill but i definitely think bo will interview for it. you can't discount the history between osbourne and gill.

Spoke with people from Omaha Tuesday. They said Pellini and wife visited Lincoln on the team's week off. Seemed pretty sure of it. I still wonder how it could have been kept out of the news.
Their have been some pretty strong rumors about him being there...but I congratulate the guy. Many work hard for a long time to get this opportunity and I hope he does well. I have confidence Miles will find more than an adequate replacement.
Nice article about him in the Omaha World Herald today, but voicing some of the same reservations as noted on this thread.
