Patten began his pro career in the Arena Football League after going undrafted out of Western Carolina in 1995 and working odd jobs. But he went on to a stellar 12-year NFL career, highlighted by earning three Super Bowl rings while playing for New England. During his time in New Orleans, Patten also served as a locker-room leader and a mentor to a young receiving corps. He especially took Meachem under his wing, working out with the 2007 first-round draft pick during the offseason. For that my friends he deserves mine and every Saints fan's respect, however, it is time to move on. I wish him the best.
Nice first post, brother! Welcome to TigerForums. :thumb: Your enthusiasm for Saints football is welcomed around here. Stick around and check out the rest of TF. Glad to have you on board.:geauxtige
I don't know, but he sure is a handsome little devil.:yelwink2: Now, since we're on the subject, who's the little white chick in YOUR avatar?
Thanks brotha. This is a very impressive site. I look forward to getting more educated on dem tigers.
Lance Moore is a restricted free agent, I think, so they'll probably give him a solid tender so nobody is willing to give away a high draft pick.
