I would count the 65 yard punt return as a play over 20/40 yards

    65>40
    65>20

Wasn't sure of the yardage, which may explain why I said:

Dante Hall has had many similar plays.

Reggie will be okay. He's not having the kind of season that will make the delusional people who took him in the top two rounds of their fantasy draft happy, but it's making me VERY happy. I don't think he should see many carries right now though, unless they are in the form of a designed sweep, or end around. He's dancing way too much, and instead of being a playmaker, he's been quite the opposite. He'll take what could be a two yard gain and turn it into a loss trying to make everyone miss. The type of plays he should be seeing are the quick passes with a couple of receivers lined up on his side as blockers. Those are the type of plays that he could turn into "home runs" right now.

As far as the post commenting that the Saints offense is not built to come from behind, what basis of comparison do we have? Being down 35-7 to the Ravens?? I dare say the Colts wouldn't be able to comeback in that situation. If we are down a couple of scores, I am fully confident that we can put together a run late in the game.

At 6-2, if the saints split their final 8 games they should still make the playoffs. THey play Pittsburgh, Cinci, Atl, SF, Dallas, Washington, NYG, and Carolina... 5 to 6 wins with that schedule shoudl be expected, barring any major injuries. Pitt is way down, Cinci will be tough, ATL is always interesting, SF should be a win, Dallas has a D to match out O, Washington will be tough, NYG are overrated, and Carolina is always a tough one...

Playoffs are a very realistic expectation with this team, but superbowl? depends on the matchups...

Exactly.... For the first time I can remember I am impressed wth what the Saints have on the feild. This team seems to be getting better and better on the feild. I am actually pumped up about the saints in week 8 as opposed to the preseason hype we usually hear.

I think the last time I was this excited was when we had that awesome defense with Jackson, Johnson etc...etc...

Looking forward to kicking the crap out of the Steelers!
