Nope...if you're not a Tiger than you're Tiger Bait! As long as it's not disrespectful than good natured ribbing is part of the game. If you can't take the heat...
Some of you guys are really taking this too far. Both the fans and Terry had fun with it. She was smiling ear to ear and laughing the whole way in with her hands together in front of her chest like she was pleading for mercy. This was a big game between two teams playing for the SEC. It could have really gotten out of hand and some things could have been said that would have been very embarrasing but they were not. What did you want them to do, cheer for her? Come on! I wasn't proud nor embarrased but I was LMAO because it was very funny. If you guys can't see that then fine but don't tell me it was wrong and the opposing coaches family is off limits to a little fun. Maybe next time we can whisper to each other and stare as she walks by like classy fans.
Kind of off topic but I would also like to mention how great the Alabama fans were this weekend. I was expecting it to get bad after the game but they went out of there way to come over and give us congrats and luck the rest of the way plus wish us a safe trip home. I'm all about a good rivalry and giving each other a hard time but they did not take it any farther than that. Out of the 100,000+ Alabama fans we walked around all weekend we had one guy that was out of line and he was very trashed.
You are right. I've seen LSU Fans all over defend the Tiger Bait chant when opposing fans are crying about it. This is no big deal, she would have been disappointed if it had not happened.:geaux:
just to clarify, the first post said nothing about good natured ribbing. when i read "screaming" tiger bait, i think of other ways i have seen people tiger baited.
I don't see how the Tiger Bait chant could ever be considered rude. Not yelling Tiger Bait at any opposing fan, player, coach, or coach's wife should be a crime punishable by permanent banning from LSU sporting events.
No problem with having fun. But the way you described it in your original post seemed a bit different that what you're saying now. Or maybe that's just the way I read it. Having a little fun is good. Being screamed at (your word) conjures up another picture. Glad you explained. By the way, welcome to the board. Stick around.:thumb:
