While we were standing in line for our tickets at will call Saban's wife was escorted by police into the stadium and everyone in line started screaming Tiger Bait at her. Does anyone happen to have the video? I was standing off to the side throwing the football under the sign that said President's elevator. The cops escorted her to the gate almost unnoticed but they couldn't find the key to the gate and they had to walk her in front of hundreds of LSU fans in line. It was very funny and I'm sure someone got it on video from there phone but I haven't seen it on youtube yet.
to me, families of coaches - all coaches - are off limits. i kinda feel bad that was done. i guess i am just old fashioned in that respect.
They just screamed Tiger Bait at her. She laughed and put her hands together like she was begging for mercy and it was done with as much class as possible. It wasn't done in poor taste and both sides got a nice laugh out of it. I couldn't believe the cops walked her right in front of all the LSU fans and it wasn't the brightest thing to do but everyone handled it well.
Knowing Mrs Saban, I would believe she wouldn't mind the ribbing and she probably expected such a reaction. She's a nice lady and a class act. Really down to earth type of person. :thumb:
How's she gonna get into Tiger Stadium next year without some good Tiger Bait chants? She's a good sport, I'm sure everyone was smiling except for the embarrassed Bama escorts. ldskule:
