Re: Craig Loston Yeah, it's a done deal. Texas A&M's programs will continue to suck into the foreseeable future.
Re: Craig Loston Just when Loston will announce is now up for debate. It may be tomorrow during practice like he originally said, or during the game, as some have heard him say in the last couple of days. I hope it's during the game for maximum exposure for LSU.
Re: Craig Loston Well the problem is that the skills competition is being taped tomorrow at around 2 or 3 and being aired at 7 I believe, so are we not going to find out where Loston committed by 7? I dont think so, we should know pretty early tomorrow.
Re: Craig Loston Yeah someone from rivals and scout will be out there so it will be announced before it is aired. If he announces.
Re: Craig Loston ESPN says three safeties stood out at the first day of practice for the Under Armour AA game: the White [team] safety trio of Devonte Holloman (Rock Hill, S.C./South Pointe), Craig Loston (Aldine, Texas/Eisenhower) and Stephon Gilmore (Rock Hill, S.C./South Pointe) proved to be an intimidating presence over the middle and down in the box when employed in Cover-3 schemes. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/football/columns/story?columnist=tucker_billy&id=3802518
Re: Craig Loston Loston's strong suit is the hard hitting. Looks like he will be a beast in run support. The only negative is his ball skills at this point. Needs some coaching there.
Re: Craig Loston ESPN raved about white team safeties Loston and Holloman again today, saying they both looked impressive in pass coverage. They both showed "impressive coverage skills." Although they are both "well-built," they still have "very smooth hips for their size." In fact, Loston looked so good in pass coverage, that the coach of his team "even lined [him] up at corner in some packages." http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/football/columns/story?columnist=tucker_billy&id=3804133
Re: Craig Loston Some in the know are saying we may go after 3 safeties. I suspect if it's these 3, it could happen. We're in a better position to get Loston, Myles and Armstrong, however. I wonder if LSU knows they are losing Francois. That wouldn't be a stretch. Other than CJones and Hatcher, we don't have much that is being developed right now. We're definitely thin at this position.
