Didn't Appy St. win the first week with the FG block against UM? My $$ would be on that one...just from a national perspective/"cute" story standpoint.
Appy State is a good one I had forgotten about, but if LSU goes on to play for the big one, you can play the whole angle of... "it wouldn't have been possible without this play, etc.."
There's also the 15-lateral DIII play. I bet it'll come down to the Appalachian St. blocked FG and that.

With the extra hype ESPN gave to that play, it can win over appy st. or the div 3 school. According to ESPN, we wouldnt have had time to kick a FG, so that was to them the gutsiest call they've ever seen.
and that play actually "meant" something in the grand scheme of things. what did the DIII team win? free pizza after the game?
