    Well, should Oregon dispatch 'Zona like I believe they will next weekend, we would need to revert back to the pre-Tulane game and dominate La Tech in order to hang on to #2.

    BUT, even IF Oregon passes us next weekend, their season is almost over and the PAC-10, as we all know, doesn't play a conference title game. We will should we take care of Ole Miss and Arkansas and will get the benefit of the SECCG against probably a top 10 UGA team or a top 25 Tenn. team. A good showing in that game would almost certainly propel us back into the top 2.

    So what I'm saying is this: Any Oregon jump over LSU without us actually losing another game is simply a "borrowed ranking" by Oregon until after the SECCG.

    IMO, it's not going to matter because I firmly believe Michigan ends tOSU's perfect season in a couple of weeks.

    Amazing turnaround at Michigan.

    It looks like that 0-2 start is just what they needed to get the pressure off.

    Much-improved Kansas still getting no respect.

    I feel ya but it hurts if USCe does not win. I get lost in it as well. I remeber back in 2003 wating to see how Hawaii did in their last game because a win or a loss would matter were USCw was going to be in the final BCS poll.....

    Seems like the coaches and voters have been generous this week with teams only dropping a few spots.

    ASU only fell 3 spots to #9??????
    Hawaii drops 2 spots, yet they didn't play this week??????
    Conneticut stays at #16
    Alabama only drops 4 spots
    A 3 loss Cal team is back in the Top 25????
    At this point, there shouldn't be any 3 loss teams in the top 25
