How can this possibly be good? If this comes to pass it will split the GOP and give the Dems a permanent advantage. I don’t know, maybe a centrist GOP could siphon votes from both Independents and Dems. I can’t help but think this is yet another scheme to stay in the news and feed his raging narcissism.
I agree. We don't need another political party. We just need the GOP leadership to get their heads out of their asses and realize that they took a major ass whipping. It's time to reach out to their existing base and say we recognize our mistakes & shortcomings & will commit to getting strong again. They also need to make a concentrated effort to attract some young blood to the party.
That kind of attitude is why the GOP got their asses whipped in the last election. I hope you enjoy living under the Dems control of the Federal government. It's going to be with us for a while unless the GOP makes major changes.
