Does anybody else out there acknowledge the possibility of Michigan beating the Buckeyes and the Jayhawks losing to Missouri? Unfortunetly Oregon has it pretty easy for the rest of the way, but with no conf. championship game, they shouldnt be a problem points wise.
Ya i should have read above posts before asking, sorry for the retard move fellas. Its been a sh***y monday.
Thats what I predict happening...Kansas gets beat by Mizzou in KC. Kansas drops out of top 10. Michigan beats OSU, and OSU drops to 5th. Oregon and LSU in Nawlins for the NC. Funny thing is, even if we were 9-0, we'd probably still be in the #2 spot, behind OSU. We were lucky in 03, to have the early lost, we made up a lot of ground at the end of the season. This can very well happen again.
That is not a dumb question at all. It brings up a very good point. I believe that Michigan game will be very tough for them. They are due a loss, and I think that could be the ticket! (sorry, didn't see ISLSTL's response to your question, and I repeated some of his thoughts)
All the more reason for the NCAA to come up with a playoff system. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
Not sure I can see that happening but I'm thinking some TV execs are gonna be really disappointed if you're right.
Now what the heck would we wrong with that, do it in a similar way to the NFL, It could be done and all the bowl games still be around. "If" mind you anyone cared to have a "clear", undisputed number 1! :helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet:
