I rely on the spray test. If your "Lou-Holtzing" me, expect to find yourself on your arse. I would expect no less from an Ole Piss fan being "Tiger Bait"ed. Its called a comfort zone for a reason and some drunk fools lose perspective.
They were throwing some type of plastic bottles at us from the upper deck in end zone. Eventually cops went up there and escorted them out.
What do you think the chances are of buying a ticket at the stadium in Oxford? I know it's a small stadium, so I guess it will be tough. I am not sure I will be able to go--if I can it will be totally last minute and I don't know whether to chance it.:geaux: lefire:
Yes I'm serious. I figure there may be plenty of people who don't want to see Ole Miss pummeled and they'd prefer to sell their tickets for a high price to visiting LSU fans. You can't pretend that it is going to be a pleasant afternoon for the Weebels.
They were selling tickets for 5 bucks for their last game. I doubt you'll get em that cheap, but 5 minutes before chick off, you find a good one. Go with the South endzone i believe is constantly in the shade. Only student section i know in the SEC that is always in the shade.
Every time we go to Oxford, some drunk crazy Ole Miss fans throw whiskey bottles into the LSU section. One year, a bottle almost hit my wife. A campus cop was standing near us and saw the bottle flying in and just laughed. :tigereye: www.tigersportsnews.com
Two years ago, my dad almost got in a fight with some Ole Piss punks sitting above us. They kept throwing ice down, and it kept hitting him. When a piece hit my mom....it was on. Dad jumped from his seat and plowed his way to the punks. He was just about to punch the first one when I jumped between them. There was a cop standing not to far away, and he came over to see what the fuss was about. Some LSU fans sitting near the punk told the cop what happened, and he escorted the punk away. I was left feeling strange after that. It's not often that I'm the one "breaking up" fights.
Thanks for the info. I enjoy checking out other SEC venues, and even though this promises to be the least interesting conference game, the fact that it's at Ole Miss makes it sort of an experience.
