You know I'll be there. Oxford is worse for finding hotels than Tuscaloosa, so naturally you have to stay in one of the adjacent cities. Me? I'm staying in Grenada, MS, which is about 62 miles from Oxford. I stayed in the same hotel for the Mississippi State game so I know that it is a safe area. I booked back in August and I don't think many people think of that city. They have a few hotels there, so they might have a few more rooms.

Just as an FYI, here's the two Ole Miss gameday information websites:

I just got a feeling Lincoln Financial is gonna pick up the game! I hate an early game.

That's what I'm betting on, too. If it is, I'll give consideration to canceling my Saturday night reservation. C'mon! Let us know something already!

Tupelo and Memphis are probably your best bets of finding a good hotel. Plus i'm from Tupelo so i wouldn't mind yall giving a bit to the economy. :thumb:

Me and the wife will be there with my family who are ole miss fans. We're crashing at my mom's house in Brandon and driving up that morning. I hope the game isn't too early because I want to do some tailgating.

Here's a tip: Don't have an open container driving into Oxford. If you have LA license plates you are a sitting duck for a shakedown. I've been stopped three times driving inbound for "speeding". When there is no container, and I'm obviously sober they have always let me go with a "warning". How very nice of them...

If you're an opposing fan I don't even think you can walk around with an open container. My parent's friend was told to pour out his beer when they went two years ago.
