Re: Bad Blood if Les Loses and Leaves

That's what I've thought since last week. Now, the loss on Friday made Les look less attractive to almost everyone, but I would hope we wouldn't forget the job he has done at LSU.

I stand corrected, it is bigger than I remember the last time I saw one. It is a very old plane and isn't efficient at all. So yes if you aren't hauling a group or a team or something, it wouldn'be one you hire out.

A Gulfstream will run you around $10-15K to leave the ground and then some $/flight hour. The DC-9 would be way more than that. So I'm saying this isn't a UM flight. Unless they flew the whole team down to introduce Miles

So is just about every coach to ever put on the headset at any NCAA school since the beginning of time. I'm not accusing you of saying he is the worst. I'm telling you that if you are disappointed with his results, chances are you're gonna be disappointed with whoever replaces him. Chances are, they're gonna make mistakes that costs us games.

Bowden has averaged 2 losses a year since going to Florida St. Most of those years were when FSU was the only team in the ACC.

    Re: New Head Coach

I went back and reread it relating to Bertman. Bertman's lame duck status and the possibility that we may waive Miles' 1.25 mil buyout is what they were referring to, not that Bertman has no input on the next coach. When someone failed to believe that Bertman would ever consider waiving the buyout, they said Bertman was "neutered" at this point. We shall see how it pans out. Remember--Spurrier, Saban, Del Rio.

I think what is going to be hardest about all of this finding a coach that wants to stay at LSU and one that will win championships. I feel it is going to be hard to find that in the same coach.

So my question to you is if you have to choose do you want a coach who will win championships and is only here for 3-5?

Do you want someone who will commit to LSU and only win one or 2 SEC Champioships in 10-12 year span?

Grad, a crop duster just flew over my house and I think I saw a white hat on the passenger.

What's the point in putting this in the contract? It's free money to LSU. Enforce it.

The only reason I can see that LSU would waive it is because they want Miles to go. Here, look, we'll waive it...take him, please!!! Not that I agree with that position, but why else? Anybody?
