So is Scott Brooks the Marty Schottenheimer of NBA Basketball?

I don't know enough about Shottenheimer to insult him that way.

Example you say? Look at what the spurs did to Miami tonight. Beat them like a rented mule. I know it is regular season and only 1 game but if you look between the lines... Pop is the best coach in the league and it isn't even close, he has a squad of geriatrics yet still able to just get them in the right sets/matchups and it pays off in spades. OKC has the athletes to match up with the heat, they have the youth, yet Brooks is steadily out coached by that spolestra.

The sad thing is Spols isn't that good of a coach. I've said for a long time Brooks was problem #1 and Perkins contract was problem #2.

And you would be exactly right. In no universe ever at any point in his career should Perkins ever make 17 mil over 2 years.

yeah shoulda coulda woulda. Hard to say what their deal is now. That dunk late in the 4th by Westbrook was effing crazy though. WOW. I think this all comes down to seeding and who draws who. Thunder could make it to the finals or be out in the first round depending on how this shakes out. Good win for Los Lakers.

Perfect example tonight. Everyone that knows anything about this team knows Roberson should get the start over Perry Jones. Brooks is stubborn and will stay with jones until Harden has the scoreboard engulfed in a blazing inferno.

So anybody see Andrew Bynum in his first game with the Pacers? I am a detractor of his, but damn did he look pretty dominating in just 10 minutes of play. I thought the trade was stupid, but I can see where this Indiana team (if they can keep Bynum healthy and motivated) can give Miami fits and probably win the East.
