This will be a fairly lean Louisiana crop, and LSU will have to really work hard on getting out of state talent to sign with LSU. I have confidence we'll be able to do that. I suspect we'll sign approximately 6 top 250 players (national rankings) out of Louisiana, leaving LSU to gather another 10-12 out of state. That's a huge number. My early prediction is that we'll end up outside the top 10 nationally when all is said and done (between 11 and 15). I believe we missed an opportunity to fare better out of state in 2016 and really load the team with 27-28 recruits, knowing that 2017 will be an uphill climb. Missing out of Mullen and Fowler were big in that regard.
Posted this in the other thread... From Dylan Moses... "Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Florida, UCLA and USC are still my top schools,” Moses said. “Alabama is still my leader because they are more structured. They have very good discipline over there so they get their kids doing what they have to do. I like their strength program, coach [Scott] Cochran, coach [Nick] Saban. It’s just a really great coaching staff over there and I just really feel comfortable there.”
Any person from Louisiana that chooses Alabama over LSU can go fuck themselves. That's traitorous on the worst level imaginable.
