I dunno. He was stunned to find out that Tulsa (his old HC job before taking over for Louisville), passed on him and did not even want to interview him. Plus the first time we throw an incomplete pass, half the fans will be calling him Krapthorpe. It's too easy.
I was under the impression Kragthorpe was talked to before the position even became available, but I could be wrong. Just a guess though.
He (Kragthorpe) resigned from A&M (WR coach) just six months ago due to family medical reasons. Do we know if he even wants another coaching job right now, esp as OC? Might he resign from LSU after a short time for the same reasons? I don't know if the medical problems have been resolved but if not it might eliminate him as a candidate.
The whole "Michigan Man" criteria is retarded. I mean I understand if Michigan wants someone who has a similar philosophy to Bo Schembechler. However, limiting the search to a "Michigan Man" is not very smart. I just want someone who is more aligned with Miles' offensive philosophy and the kind of players that he recruits.
Maybe you should see a professional about it. I know they say ignorance is bliss, but not like 100 % of the time.
Probably. You want JJ to be facing the defense the entire time. Not a guy who we want taking snaps under center and then turning his back to the defense. He did play well once we seemed to abandon the speed option, though. The read option really opened up some running lanes for him and allowed the runningbacks to produce.
he doesn't recruit Texas unfortunately (Oklahoma, Kansas, N. Louisiana). I just hope he has enough ties to help us recruit Dallas-DFW. The problem is TCU "possesses" those ties, not Fuente. They won't just let him walk into that area and pluck people for LSU.
