    This news is a little old, but I just read that the Saints are trying to recoup some of the $9M guaranteed money he's due to make; specifically the $8M signing bonus. I'm not a huge Fairley fan, but this is bullshit. Of all the piss poor contracts and dead money deals still hanging over their heads from the last few years and this is the one they go after? A dude with a heart condition? I just think that's fucked up. Since it's guaranteed money, I doubt they have a case legally, but someone is convincing them that they do.

    Pretty chickenshit of the Saints. I'm sure they gave Fairley a standard physical before agreeing to the deal.
