Thanks for the info...I will forward this over to Les Miles and Bo Pellini so that we can have a good game plan. :rolleye33:

That's how Tulane had us messed up for a half, with misdirection. I don't think that's a bad tactic, though Tulane over-compensated and kind of shot themselves in the foot with it nearly as much. I'd be surprised to see Nick Saban get too zany on offense.

Should be a good game. I hope Pelini brings his A-game.

    Which reminds me.
I wonder if Lou Holtz is going to give his pep talk to Bama or has he already done that for someone else?

Any defensive scheme can be countered, but you have to win the timing battle and win at the line of scrimmage. Are they gonna bring the pressure on this down, or sit back into coverage? Are they gonna slip down a LB or bring a safety? Pelini will probably mix it up, but we've seen that giving a good QB with good receivers/TEs plenty of time to throw is often disastrous, and the last thing we need is to let the opposing QB get into a rhythm. For that reason I think we'll use more pressure and try to take the crowd out of it.

Then again I thought the same thing about Kentucky.

Gene was not only a great coach, but a gentleman as well.

I know many in T-town miss him sorely.

He gave it to Navy. Talk about a sadistic SOB, they've already lost 40+ to Notre Dame, what'd they ever do to him?

We are thinking along the same lines on that one. Even though Applewhite is young, I was impressed with the play calling against Chavis. Hell, he's got close to 20 years calling defenses and they were on their heels.

Unfortunately, things are getting crazy in T-town already. Those factions of fan bases we are all ashamed of are showing their asses.

And I'm afraid we'll always have them, unfortunately. But tomorrow promises to be a great game.:thumb:

Ahhh, its that time of year when all the sports writers get on the "LSU ain't that good" train. Some things just never change. Beginning to feel like Rodney Dangerfield...Well, you guys all know the quote...
