It is obvious the kid just can't get healthy. How terrible it must be to be named All SEC before the start of the season and be unable to see the field much because your body (knees) are arthritic. He seems to have the heart and ability of a champion, but his body just won't let him see the field.

It is sad. And maybe if we had his leadership, we wouldnt be taking off our helmets to yell at refs on the field:dis:

What's the story here? Is Arnold hurt again? Gone for the season..?

People talk all the time about what a super-talented team we have and how we should be blowing out opponents, but it seems like all, or most of the talent (save for Doucet, who missed many critical games) is on the defensive side. Maybe this team is overachieving from an offensive standpoint?

i have the position of knowing a good bit more about will than the other players considering he is dating a childhood friend of mine. he has it a lot harder than just being unhealthy. i won't go into his personal toubles, but his position and mine aren't too dissimilar.

that said, there's been game(s) this year where he was out tailgating before the game instead of being with the team. that's his decision and i'm not criticizing it at all, but when you do that i think it's pretty easy to say you're not doing all you can to get back on the field.

he'll be fine though. he's got good family support and good social support.

He's not likely to pass an NFL physical, now. It's a shame because Arnold was a very effective lineman when he was healthy, with NFL size and strength.

yeah it surprised me when i saw him too, but i only saw him out before the florida game.

other friends told me he was out at other games during the time he had that viral infection so it wasn't like he was going to play anyway.

he's got a lot of other stuff to take care of though, i might have done the same thing. who knows?

Kinda hard to put myself in his shoes since I clearly did not play college football. If I could have tapped that 'Win' goalpost and ran out onto the field once....
