This is really cool. Congrats to LSU and welcome to Mike VI, I am sure you will represent well. You elevate not only LSU, but the entire SEC. I cannot think of any place that you could be more loved and well treated. RIP Mike V
Deceks You are a class guy. If you didnt root for Auburn you would be close to a 5 star recruit. Being an Auburn fan loses that 5th star. :thumb:
e-mail from a friend, ..... gonna be a BIG BOY. 300+ lbs at 2 years old? Trust me, he's gonna be a BIG mother ****er. I think 700 lbs like David Baker predicted is a bit much but, I'll all but guarantee he'll top out at well over 600 lbs. He'll certainly be the biggest tiger LSU has ever had. He's a good looking boy. Can't wait to meet him. If we're lucky and David is around when we go see him, I'm sure he'll take us down inside to meet him up close and personal.
When you work in the trenches all your adult life with exotic animals at some point there is a big payoff, other than working with exotic animals.:thumb:
So I took the kids and wife to see Mike VI on Sunday. He is absolutely beautiful!! There must have been 75-100 fans out there to see him. So there was this little boy (about 2, I guess) with his father and they were pressed up against the glass admiring Mike VI laying by the pond. Mike then notices the little boy and stands up and gets in that 'I'm about to pounce this lunch' stance. He looked awesome. Never took his eyes off the boy. Well, he was adamant about going through the water. Put one paw in the water then slowly made his way to the boy. Mike put his nose on the glass and the little boy started laughing. It was absolutely amazing!! My daughter (she's 4) said, daddy, I wanna do that!! I said, me too! :hihi: Guys, we have ourselves a fabulous mascot! GEAUX MIKE VI!!
Thanks for sharing, I hope I can get down to BR to see him sometime this fall. He does sound amazing. I hope the Game Day folks do a nice segment on him.
