No big surprise, but they seem to be getting worse each game. I CANNOT STAND listening to them. It's hard to believe these guys are CBS's No. 1 broadcast team. Sean McDunnah (sp?) and Todd Blacklege were soo much better. Unfortunately, the HD broadcast is about 5 seconds ahead of the radio, so I can't turn down the sound of my TV and turn up the sound on 870.

Verne Lundquist makes me laugh, but Gary Danielson says some of the most idiotic things EVER. I would much prefer Todd Blacklege.

Whoever it was that was talking about Dorsey - when he went down in the 1st quarter- is an idiot.

When Dorsey went down, and it appeared that his knee injury was back or was worsened, the announcer said very bluntly that he didn't think Dorsey should take the field for any more of LSU's games. He claimed Dorsey had too bright a future in the NFL, and that playing for LSU could cost him his $20million in guarantees that he'll get for being in the top 5 overall picks. He also said that even though big Glenn might WANT to come back in the game, an adult figure in his life should tell him to think about what it could do to his draft chances. Makes me sick.

With that logic, shouldn't we have sat JaMarcus Russell last year? You know, in case he would have gotten hurt and missed out on his being the #1 pick on draft day?

Dorsey came back to win a national championship, and perhaps improve his draft status with another great year in college, not to play a few games and then sit on the sidelines as a soon-to-be-rich spectator.

Again, that announcer is an idiot. Thanks for giving it your all, big Glenn Dorsey!

My frustration with the media covering games is when they bring their own preconceived story lines into the game and insist on spinning it. You could see Danielson could not wait to use his two main story lines.

    1) LSU should not be playing Glenn Dorsey because of his NFL draft value.

    2) This game is about the coaches and how CLM was going to be strung up by LSU fans for losing to NS.

Just report the game guys and give credit where credit is due. This is a special team and will only get its due respect when CLM is hoisting the BCSNC Trophy. It should not be that way but the media has written the script and are just waiting for failure so they can pounce on our coach and team. I sure hope our guys can run the table. They have endured so much already this season. Injuries, the Saban Circus and the whole lack of respect for Coach Miles.

Dorsey could be my favorite LSU player of all time. I can't say enough about the guts and courage and talent this guy has. I've never seen another player in football quite like him.

I,ll make no bones about it, these clowns almost cheered when UK beat us...they don,t seem to like us all that much because they always seem to be "biased" towards the other guys. I dont want "homers" calling games but at least be fair. I guess they were forced by contract to do the LSU games and its pretty obvious to me, they'd rather be doing the Big 10 or something. I like ESPN's guys, they seem to be fairer in their analysis and game play.

I'm not a big fan of that tandem either.

However, when Herman Johnson went down briefly, I had to laugh when the guy said, "Johnson is down at the 36, 37, 38, and 39 yard lines."
