The tigers will face Nova after the Awards show on ESPN tonight. I haven't got my tunnel vision off of the football team long enough to really know what we are capable of on the hard court. I hear we got SCREWED by a bogus time out call against Ok State. Does anyone have an update on how our basketball team is looking?
I think we have some good players, just not enough of them. Any team with a strong frontline will cause big trouble for the Tigers. Really been impressed so far with Randolph, Thornton, Spencer and Chris Johnson has looked pretty good. As for tonight we match up pretty good with Nova as they play a lot of 3 guard offense.
I hear we have some shooters. It seems like we can't get a good mixture of both...shooters and power inside. It is one or the other.
Thornton is the best shooter on the team but Spencer has been a nice surprise as so far he is shooting really well.
if this team continues to progress at the rate that they have progressed since the 1st game of the year, then it will be a real fun year. 8-2 LSU up at 1st tv timeout. Edit: Bo Spencer will easily be the best PG of the Brady Era... easily.
i haven't been watching basketball so far... don't really care about the sport. but we look good in this game. is this how we've looked so far this season? edited to add* man randolph looks good. not quite a tyrus but geez he's talented. 20-10 lsu 7:40 left in the 1st.
they looked terrible at the beginning of the year (learning a new offense) I tell you what, though, they seem to have it down now. They are getting back to playing that solid, Brady defense, now, too. This will be a very, very good team.
I really like this team this year. Seems like everyone knows their role this year, and it's so exciting to see some forwards like Johnson and Randolph who have nice shooting touch and get a ridiculous amount of blocks. Seems like we many more scoring options this year. Thornton and Spencer are both studs and both know what to do with the ball
