Despite the fact it was miss st. We looked like a bunch of freshmen shell-shocked in their first sec road game. There was no pressure from the dline. The oline got handled. You build a defense from the inside out and we havent had a deep dominating line in seemingly forever. But it used to just cost us vs Bama. Then maybe uf and a third team. Now I guess that includes miss st. Now Mingo and Montgomery were good not great. Nothing like the lavalais, Spears, Dorsey and marquise Hill (rip) days. Hopefully Lawrence and Herron out make that big of a difference but we have to get some real depth there soon. We also need some game changers. We finally have some good linebackers but I do miss Kendall Beckwith who stuffed everything up the middle and covered sideline to sideline. Lots of talent but we also need leaders. Anyhow the way we were handled both sides of the ball is really worrisome and I'm left wondering how soon it can be fixed. I was worried about this game and it played out like I feared. I thought Aranda could keep it close but we had no shot. Being outclassed by moo u is a really sobering reality.
Well, we have a few weeks before we see again. Maybe our well-paid brainiacs can figure out a way to work to our strengths and deflect from our weaknesses.
2008 against Florida, Georgia and even Ole Miss (the clock game). 2014 vs Auburn and Arkansas 2015 vs Arkansas and Ole Miss
I was willing to give Orgeron a shot but this shit looked like his days at Ole Miss. I can't remember the last time LSU was dominated like this. You know we used to bang on Peveto and Miles all day and say things like, penalties are a reflection of your head coach. How is this different? Sure there are a lot of youngsters on this team, but man, there was a flag on the field at all times it felt like.
