I think his NLI is voided and he did not enroll at FU, so he is free to sign elsewhere as if he had never officially signed. He'll sign somewhere on National Signing Day in Feb. BTW...I have a feeling he might still be able to sue the FU NIL collective even though he didn't go there since - technically - no NIL deal can be bound to a player committing to any university.
So do you have to be enrolled to be considered official? If that's the case, what's the purpose of signing a NLI?
I wonder what Tommy Hodson would be worth these days in NIL? 4 time All SEC, leading yardage passer in the SEC for years. Hell, bring in an NFL guy to train him, like they did with Burrow, he coulda thrown for 7,000+ yards in a season.
