And yes, though it was Samford, what was amazing was the proficiency from beyond the arc. LSU was 8-17 behind Allison Hightower's 3-4 and Quianna Chaney's 3-5. If LSU has implemented a legit three point attack, things will open up for Syl inside.
I'm looking forward to see what Van Chancellor does with this team. They seemed to play better when Big Syl went out. I think he'll be more crafty than Pokey with some new things. The team says he's laid back but still seems to make them play hard. Must be this tootsie roll thing. Hope they have a great year.
