Kindle E-books?

i know that is sad isnt it

 

I love my kindle and the fact I can use the kindle app on my phone if I don't have the kindle itself with me; and when I'm using the kindle again it goes to where I last read on my phone ;-)

So the Kindle Fire will run ALL Android apps? I didn't know that. So, it's bascially Google/Amazon's answer to the Ipad at 1/3 the cost?

 

You know, you can read all those books on laptops and desktops too. My new 27" IMAC is a great and I mean great reader.

 

i am not sure if it will run all android apps. maybe it will. it doesnt have direct access to the android app market, it goes to an amazon market. my understanding is that android apps work, you just have to install them from wherever, not the market. it isnt a google product, it just happens to run android.

also it is much smaller and i am pretty certain less powerful than the ipad. it also seems less powerful than my hp touchpad. still, it was 200.
