F King looked the other way with Elmer prob fearing a wrongful termination lawsuit which might have been costly . F King also dumped all over the notion of hiring Jimbo for financial reasons . If we know anything about the politics at LSU ( and most universities) it’s that the only decision a President is allowed to make unilaterally is what restroom he uses .

Does anyone really care about ol Verge? I went to school with him and Leroy Etienne. Those guys were hell on wheels at NISH. Leroy went to Neb and Verge to the good guys. Guess he could be an escape goat but not the name this type of scandal is looking for.
