Coach Saban should win more championships at Bama within five seasons than he did at LSU.

If he doesn't, then something is wrong, and the Bama folks need to figure out what's wrong.

I'm shocked that Bama has already lost 4 games . . . very shocked.

I'm pretty sure that Shula would not have done any worse so far, but, heck, maybe Bama has had some bad luck this year.

Not really my business . . . I'm just sayin'.

Saban's 56 and very intense . . . how long before he loses his edge? His father died quite young from heart disease.

    LSU! :crystal:

Not needed, and refuting this saying this is a real discussion is ridiculous.

    Original topic.

Saban looks like he's having a great recruiting class. You have to have players, and he's bringing them in, so on that front, he's doing a good job so far. This is a good year for Alabama high scool talent (I've heard, not a big recruting follower) He'll have a top five class, so good job, let's see if he does it year in and out.

On coaching this year. He's gotten them in much bettter shape. So he's done well there. I think MA may be a tad bit over his head right now, though longterm, he'll probably shape up. I use as evidence Saban's own obvious frustration at offensive play calling and clock managment.

    His game day coaching:
Barely got by Houston, Ole Miss (huge help from officials), and Ark(again, help from the refs)

And Bottom line, while the saban scyophants point to lack of talent over and over, he lost to a Miss. St. team with less talent. I think that's why people are bringing Miles into the discussion. Bamafans are pointing out LSU's talent everytime someone does welll against us, so you can't have it both ways, Saban got outcoached Saturday, by the Bama folks own reasoning.

I think Saban will go a great job and have Bama competing for the SEC again, but he's not the be all and end all, no weakness coach the Bama fan's are claiming. And all their posturing "We're back where we belong and LSU is going into the toilet" is the reason for I get peeved, not becasue they have Saban.
