which is more painful to listen to? I cant believe someon actually cuts a paycheck for each of these announcers.
At this point, they embarrass me and their affiliation to such a great school as LSU.....
If their boss reads this, please, I beg you to back and listen to these two chumps call a game. Then please ask them both to resign.

That's what baffles me about Rollins. I'm always thinking, 'That's the best that they could find?' I have a very hard time believing that. Hell, Greg Bowser is light years ahead of him.

dude, am i am not kidding when I say this.....I would rather listen to you call the game vs this Rollins guy. He is, by far, the worst announcer I have ever heard.

You gotta love Jim. The guy bleeds P&G. I'm just waiting for the day that Charlie Hannagriff steps up as VOTT, he'll be a good one.

There are millions who bleed P&G. We need someone who articulately and factually represents the game to our ears. Hawthorne is one of the worst I have heard around this country of ours. Dude needs to hang it up in the worst way. The way he pouted and complained about the clock last night was a joke. Get over it, Hawthorne, and dont let it effect you! He was clearly affected as he bemoaned it for 15 minutes......and the guy has been calling games for years!
Just sad that we have 2 of the worst calling our great team and university. Time for new blood.

I must apologize for this thread. I mistakenly identified as Rollins as the guy who gives me a migraine when I listen. He is bad, dont get me wrong, but its the color guy, Rene Nadeau that is the one who should be kept away from a mic.

You must not have heard the guy before Hawthorne. I remeber John Furgeson(not sure on the spelling). He would never tell you were the ball was. Anyway I remeber Hawthorne when he worked at KWKH in Sheveport that was about the same time I was working at WSLG in Gonzales....I hear it is no longer on the air(WSLG). Hawthorn does get into the game and he is a true Tiger fan. The best I have heard nation wide would have to be the guy who does tOSU games here in Columbus. JMHO......:geaux:

99% of listeners in Georgia turn off TV and turn on radio to listen to Larry Munson of the Bulldogs. I am not a fan of Ga of course, but I would love for LSU to have a guy like that.
