Playing with ultimate confidence. This was the best I have ever seen with him throwing the ball. Actually had to throw a couple of times with a lot of touch and he did perfectly. He also led receivers out in the flat (something he has always had trouble doing). He's extremely tough to bring down in the pocket, and runs tough for a QB. I didn't like Lee getting the shaft with just 2 bad passes vs Bama, but if I'm being honest, JJ gives us the absolute best chance to win the national championship.
A QB Coach can work wonders, thanks Krags....... They changed up the offense a little this game, opened the playbook..:tigereye:
JJ has these great games in him from time to time. Remember the Ga Tech bowl game? I was like....WOW!!! THIS IS OUR GUY!! And he has shown flashes since then that he has the ability. I hope this turns into a serious consistent style of play....because if so...we hoist another crystal ball.
It's definitely undeniable that our offense is just more versatile when JJ is on his game. Power running, the option, draws, and oh yeah he's throwing darts and runs like a deer. Pretty much unstoppable when he's playing confidently.
He looked solid tonight in many areas, but let's not forget who we were playing. Fortunately Arkansas defense isn't much better than OM.
Yep, I did see a change in some of what they did out of certain formations. More misdirection on some of the running plays. Remember from the start, we have been using Crowtons playbook.
Jefferson is gonna win this team a BCSNCG! Mark it! --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=30.070151,-95.535212
