According to reports I have received, Jason Peters has committed to play football at LSU. I have also been told that LSU might have received another commitment, but I cannot confirm this. The other player that comes to mind is Sam Proctor, if he was offered. Also Joe McKnight and Chad Jones had great visits.

Great! It really shows where Les is in his recruiting replacing one **** commit with another **** commit. Now maybe all the vitriol directed towads Luther Davis will die down some. It's really tacky.

I much rather have Peters because of the person he is. Way to seal the deal Coach Miles.

If there is another commitment from this weekend I honestly dont think it would be Proctor. I may be wrong, but I dont think he is a major emphasis for the coaches. With all the top tier players still considering, I dont think the coaches would offer him just yet. Hopefully LSU can steal Scott from Texas plus with things looking good with Corley. Im most confident that Francois will be a Tiger. That leaves McKnight, Jones, and Toliver left on the waiting list. So I dont see the coaches offering Proctor just yet.

The only other recruits it could be from todays visit:

    McKinght
    Jones
    Proctor
    Rishaw Johnson

My guess is that it would be RJ since he had an offer before todays visit. If I am not mistaken he is committed already to another team.(maybe Ole Miss). Proctor did not have an offer before today's visit.

I am assuming JM and CJ will wait until NSD.

I don't think it is Proctor and I actually hope it isn't. I don't think we have enough scholarships left to be offering someone that isn't a need area and isn't a consensus great player.

Proctor projects as a hard hitting safety or possibly even LB. He is mature beyond his years. Sounds like a good kid, which is never a bad thing.

I don't see how we offer Proctor with all the elite players still possible.

My guess is McKnight let it be known he is coming to LSU.
