    .....and what a helluva game!

The 'bama fans were very nice and hospitable. I did not witness any problems what-so-ever. One thing though, they seem to be lacking in their fun skills. Except for the 30,000 or so LSU fans, their campus was dead. Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of them, but you sure as hell couldn't hear them. Walking through their campus, it wasn't hard to find the other LSU tailgates...we were the only one's having a good time.

After the game, University Drive was amazing! There's nothing nicer than seeing a Purple and Gold Snow White dancing in the middle of the street! They're probably still parting out there.

During the game, right before the second half, a 'bama fan yelled "Saban Lives!" at a LSU band member playing the flute. Oh, I loved it.....she dropped the flute, and yelled back "And the Bear's dead!" The expression on the gumps face was priceless. Poor girl though, she was chewed out by a band official. I made the 'bama fan apologize for getting her in trouble. I didn't think she heard him, and before I could make him repeat it louder, he quickly got lost. :hihi:

Our fans were great! Even when the game was somewhat in doubt, everyone was having a great time. I love that "Talking out the side of your neck" song. You can't help but have fun when they play that!

It was funny sitting around some 'bama fans. This older guy to my right was the official "Yell Coordinator". He would tell the other 'bama fans when to yell, and when to be quiet. Some young 'bama girls were having a lot of fun in the early minutes of the game. They were standing and cheering loudly until the older 'bama fans, sitting behind them, told 'em to sit down so they could see. They turned around and told the older couple that they were just supporting their team, and the couple told them that they could do that while seated! I looked at my brother, and we both just started laughing. I thought the girls were going to start crying as they sat down and just shook their pom-poms.

Again....great meeting some of you, and I'm looking forward to the latech game. Being around the walking dead at 'bama really makes you appreciate how special LSU is.

    Geaux Tigers!

Yeah it was good to meet up with yall before the game and put a face to the names. That was one hell of a game. I actually had to encourage the bama fans to harass me and upsizin. They were so quiet, definately a different atmosphere than in Baton Rouge.
