Anyone caught in purple and gold will be drawn, quartered, bent, folded, stapled and mutilated. Having said that, i hope you enjoy your visit.

Of course it is safe to wear your colors. I would actually be insulted if someone didn't show their support for their team. After the game last week I went with my son, who is a senior at Bama to the Houndstooth and we actually partied with a group flying TN colors and we had a great time with them.

Just ignor the idiots that act a fool.

I probably wouldn't try that AT Bama, but at LSU, oh yeah. That's good stuff there. Get a cute purple dress and wear the hat with it, yup.... I'm in for next year :hihi:

Should I see something like that take place, I would help you out. Nothing wrong with some good natured ribbing, but there is never a need to get nasty or mean. It is just a football game.

Never had much trouble in Bama... it was Georgia fans that actually attacked the band after the game at Athens in 2004.

I've never really seen a case of serious harassment at BDS, although I'm sure it is an occasional occurrence, as it is everywhere. The cops there are on top of anything organized, like bus-rocking and the like. After the cup-throwing following the taunting by the UGA players*, the groups involved lost their seating areas and were threatened with much more if it happened again. BDS should be one of the safest places to wear your colors. BTW, I was a freshman fifty years ago...

*UGA just received a double taunting penalty, when the team ran onto the field following their opening TD against UF. They kicked off from their 7.5...

I live in the "Heart" of Gator country, and wear the colors year round...dont be a "Puss"!!!! BTW Tide-Hsv..I thought that was a great move on behalf of the Bulldogs. They've had their hineys kicked so many times by the Gators they "needed" something to get them pumped! Its was still a great SEC game!
