Carnell Stewart Is it just me or is anyone else happy that Carnell Stewart is a senior and will be gone after this year? He is one of the worst offensive lineman I have ever seen! :LSU231:
I'm assuming this thread will be deleted, but assuming it's not... No, I won't be happy when he's gone. He's been at LSU for a while, and is playing hard.
Carnell Stewart started off pretty rough against MSU. But then has played really well (with some lapses along the way) since then. God how I hate that you named this thread ("Is it just me..."). Why not name it "Carnell Stewart". Huh? One of my biggest pet peeves is for people to put out thread titles that forces you to read the first post. I wish mods would just automatically fix the thread name. That's what I would do if I was a mod on here.
He was awful in the MSU game. That one MSU guy, I forget his name, owned him all night. But he has played exremely will since then imo. Although taking the helmet off was pretty dumb (think that was him, not sure).
It was, and that's a foolish mistake. However, he had legitimate reason to be bent when he realized he was being penalized even though the Bama guy had jumped through the neutral zone. And he knew it was a key play. Heat of the moment sometimes, regardless of how much some folks wish our players were perfectly behaved robots on the field.
he could have committed 100 penalties in a row and i would never, ever, ever be "happy" to see him go. p.s. at Tiger-walk Sat (assuming you go to the games), why don't you tell him he sucks to his face.
Unfortunately, I don't live close enough to go to the games. All I am saying, is that it seems that a lot of the penalties called against LSU for holding and false start are against Stewart. If Will Arnold was healthy, Stewart would not be seeing the field.:LSU231:
I stand corrected. I thought Stewart played guard and Hitt played tackle. Regardless, Stewart is still called for a lot of penalties - some that a senior should not be making!
"That one MSU guy" (Titus Brown?) is one of the best DLs in the country and is a large reason why MSU is still in the Bowl hunt. Yes. It's just you. It amazes me how, in the midst of a season where we are in the NC hunt and out of all of the scenarios involved and the fan excitement that goes along with all of this, some clown is wondering: "Duh...Gee...I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks Carnell Stewart sucks?"
