hehe, since when is offering the last word such a noble thing?

i like to take the last word, but i rarely need it, because unlike you two, i have a rate of 100% in humiliation of anyone who argues with me. you guys are minor leaguers.

personally i think we look like the ohio state of a few years ago, stellar defense and par to sub par offense, play sloppy games sometimes but gets things done. Personally i wouldnt flip flop our offensive performance for our defensive performence. Its hard to lose a game when your defense is in top 5 in the nation in yards allowed per game.

Calling for Jimbo's head is an over-reaction and will not resolve anything. Obviously, last night's game plan was to play smash mouth and ball control and it worked to perfection. Everyone on this board wants the offense to be a juggernaut and to be more consistent, but until the maturity and talent levels for a young team rise to their potential, why not be satisified with what wins games instead of how it looks to get there? I agree that last night's game plan will not work against Bama, Ole Piss, and Ark. But I also think the coaching staff is smart enough to figure this out without disgruntled fans on Tiger Forums telling them as much and will scheme accordingly.

I'm not telling them what to do. I don't think he should be "Zookered"...I just think that we shouldn't make any counter offers...

I hear ya. I too, wish we would get away from so many reverses!!! A reverse is something, IMO, that you run every once-in-a-while--NOT as something that is to be used 3 times in a game. It just makes no since!

I won't throw the book at Jimbo yet though, but his play selections did have me questioning him much this past week.

Did anyone else notice that, on the double reverse, if Skyler hadn't handed the ball off he could have walked into the endzone? Have we run the DR before ? Did we tip off the defense that the play was on?

Well, according to the staff there were a lot of run/pass checks, and they ended up being runs...

I just wish that Skler would have had the end around/reverse check on so he could have scored it, then...

(Disclaimer: I'm fully aware there's probably no such check. This was a joke. Please save all pithy comments for another thread or post)
